Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Communication with the owner was good. The apartment is in a quiet location, spacious and well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and the little garden at the back was a lovely space to wind down in after the day's drive, and to have my breakfast before I went on. It took me about 15 minutes to walk into the city in the evening, much of it very pleasant along the riverside.

Negative: I couldn't find the light switch for the bathroom. There were written instructions but I guess my French wasn't quite up to the job. It wasn't a big problem as I was on my own so just left the door open and the light coming through was sufficient.

Summary: Excellent peaceful haven in reach of the city
