The Petite Barn is a newly restored barn situated in the heart of France in a rural hamlet a few minutes drive from Gargilesse, (one of the most beautiful villages in France) and Badecon Le Pin.
Offering well equipped accommodation for 6 persons, the Petite Barn is ideal for exploring the Indre and Creuse regions of France, 100 kms from Limoges Airport and 32 kms from Chateauroux. A short drive from Junction 20 and 19 of the A20 and Argenton-sur-Creuse is just 10 minutes away
The barn has an enclosed garden, with a patio area with table and chairs for dining, there is a gas barbeque/plancher. At the side of the property there is a further area of hard standing with a settee and sun loungers.
The ground floor consists of an open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area with a fully equipped kitchen. There is a separate bedroom/lounge area with a sofa bed, which has a normal bed mattress dimensions 133 x 188 cms. The downstairs toilet and shower room are accessed via this room. The shower room also houses the washing machine.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms. Bedroom one has a king size bed and there is plenty of space for a travel cot. Bedroom two has two large single beds 90 x 200 which can be made into one super kingsize bed if requested in advance. Both bedrooms have velux windows and a cute small window. Bedroom two has great views. The second bathroom has an Italian shower, toilet and large hand basin.
The beautiful countryside is perfect for long walks, cycling or fishing and the property is within a short drive of Argenton-sur-Creuse, Eguzon/Lac Chambon and the Brenne National Park. The A20 motorway is easily accessed with Limoges one hour away and Chateauroux just 30 minutes
