Location
Oye Plage lies just across the French border, only a half an hour's drive from La Panne. This beautiful resort still contains large stretches of unspoilt nature and is the perfect holiday destination for those who love an extensive fauna and flora. Owing to the formation of its sand banks, this location on the French coast had become an excellent breeding ground for all kinds of birds by the end of the eighteenth century. Today this a true nature reserve, complete with hiking trails. In addition to the beautiful nature, there are also many places of interest you can visit, such as the Leaning Tower of Oye-Plage, a relic of the Second World War. This bell tower of a local church is now a protected monument.
For sports and fun in the area you can visit the large leisure complex called "Sportica". Enjoy the rollerblade trail or fitness club, play a game of squash, badminton or table tennis, or savor a night of fun at the bowling alley – it's all here! Take a dip in the brand new pool or enjoy a good movie at the adjacent cinema. Only 15 minutes away you'll find the shopping complexes of Cité de l'Europe and Marques Avenue, with their wide range of boutiques. There's also an outlet mall where you're sure to pick up a bargain. On the bay of Wissant you can enjoy delicious seafood dishes, something this region is known for. Furthermore, it won't cost you a fortune. In Calais, gastronomy is at its best at the restaurant Cahnnel. Here you can select a bottle of wine from the largest wine cellar in northern France.
Interior
You will stay in Villa les Dunes, a small residence at 100m from the beach and right at the entrance of the nature reserve. This tastefully furnished apartment is equipped with every comfort and is suitable for max. 4 people. On a total area of approximately 35m² you have a living room with TV flat screen, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle etc.
There is one bedroom with 2 single beds, and a separate sleeping corner with bunk beds. There is also a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. You also have a terrace (shared use) with garden furniture sea view. Possibility to rent bath linen (5 euro per person)

This beautiful holiday resort in Oye-Plage is located just half an hour from the border of Belgium and France. Here you will find a beautiful nature reserve with unique bird species and a wide sandy beach ideal for taking walks, building sand castles with the children, cycling, horseback riding.... something for everyone! The town is definitely worth a visit. In summer you can enjoy a cruise on the canal. Calais is a town with numerous historic sites. For example, in the old town you can visit wonderful landmarks like the Hotel de Ville (city hall) with clock tower and belfry or spend an afternoon at the Musee des Beaux-Arts (Fine Arts Museum). A 134-meter-high cape of white chalk, the Blanc-Nez, and a 45-meter-high promontory of sandstone, clay and limestone called the Gris-nez, enclose the bay of Wissant. The "path of the water seekers" (chercheurs d'eau) gives you the opportunity to explore this beautiful bay.
