The house is ten minutes drive from Courchevel (Three Valleys) and ten minutes drive from Champagny (La Plagne / Paradiski) so is on the doorstep of two of the biggest and best ski areas in Europe. Regular shuttle available to and from Courchevel.
The space:
The house is on three floors. The middle floor is the large, open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen (cooker, hob, microwave, fridge freezer), dining area with a table that comfortably sits six, and a comfortable sofa / sitting area.
There's a 55 inch Smart TV for Netflix / Disney / Amazon / Apple, and a wood pellet stove which lights at the touch of a button.
Upstairs is the spacious master bedroom with an equally spacious en suite with walk in shower and views of the mountains over the rooftops.
On the ground floor the second bedroom has two beds in the main space that can either be configured as a double or two singles, and the option to use one other single bed in a recess behind.
There's also the ski / boot room with a ski and boot rack. It's also the house utility room and has a washing machine and a sink.
The area:
Bozel sits just ten minutes drive from Courchevel Le Praz, if you want to ski in the Trois Vallées. It's also ten minutes drive from Champagny if you want to ski in La Plagne and Paradiski. Both have large car parks right by the lift. There is a also a regular shuttle bus from Bozel town hall to Courchevel and back throughout the day, which takes 15 minutes.
Bozel is a small town that functions all year round. There is a lake right by the town and in the summer that becomes the town beach. It's at the gateway of the Vanoise National Park, with beautiful Champagny le Haut a short drive away.
The town has a boulangerie, butcher, a well equipped Spar, a pharmacy, ski equipment hire, and a handful of bars and restaurants.
Courchevel is the chic-est of the Three Valleys, famed as one of the best ski areas in the world for its range of skiing, snow reliability, and size. The Three Valleys area combines Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens.
Champagny is less well known but is part of La Plagne, which in turn is part of the massive Paradiski, which combines La Plagne with les Arcs. Between them they offer 425 kilometres of high, snowsure slopes and they are linked by the Vanoise Express.
The Champagny ski area gets the sun in the morning (and is often quieter than the main La Plagne bowl). Lifts take you quickly to three of the key peaks surrounding La Plagne. It also has two of the best runs in the resort - the stunning red Mont de la Guerre, with views over Champagny le Haut, which runs all the way down to Champagny village, and the thigh busting, 6 km long Levasset from the top of the Roche de Mio.
