Positive: We had the friendliest of welcomes from the host who helped take our luggage into the room. The Hotel is in a scenic location which was a little difficult to appreciate due to the poor weather at the time of our viisit. The meal was in the restaurant across the road. There were no other guests, so we sat in front of a log fire while he cooked our meal choices. Fabulous cooking, everything beautifully prepared and cooked to prefection. I would say he is a "master chef".

Negative: The hotel part gives the impression of being a little run down. However, the room itself appears to have been recently updated and it is well appointed and clean. Overall, any deficiencies are more than made up for by the wonderfull cooking and beautiful location. We would certainly like to visit again.

Summary: We enjoyed a wonderful meal cooked by a "master chef"
