This 2 bedroom stylish cottage, La Maison de Marc, is the detached farmhouse of La Chartreuse du Maine. This south-facing house has recently been restored to a high standard, preserving most of the original features. Tastefully furnished, this cottage includes a living room, a kitchen-dining room and a bathroom. All the ground floor rooms open onto a private flower garden and woods. Outside, on the terrace there is outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ for delightful meals under the old oak tree. Everything inside the farmhouse and outside in the estate: terraces, gardens, vegetable garden, speaks of a French ‘art de vivre’ in the bygone days.

The shady tree-lined entrance to La Chartreuse du Maine is on the outskirts of the village of Cubjac, which is in the Dordogne region on the banks of the peaceful Auvezere River.
