Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Set in a very pleasant “écoquartier” close to the tramway and university. Not far from the river. Lovely for walking or running. Plenty of amenities close by (bakery, supermarket). Less touristy than more central properties. Out of term-time this university residence was very quiet. Plenty of space to park a bike. A composting bucket is provided.

Negative: It was VERY HOT in August despite the fan. There is no air-conditioning which is normal for an “écoquartier”. However, being on the top floor and catching the sun most of the day, it was difficult to cool the flat down. Also no plug socket next to the bed (only BEHIND the bed so not very accessible).
